Participants will start the aquathlon event with a swim in the Holland Community Aquatics Center indoor pool, then transition to a run course through the adjacent neighborhood, around Moran Park. The entire course is closed for the safety of all participants.

Youth 7-10 100m swim / 1k run — POSTPONED
Youth 11-15 200m swim / 2k run — POSTPONED
16+ 400m swim / 4k run — POSTPONED

This event is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned event and will abide by the USA Triathlon Safe Return to Sport requirements, as well as all Sate of Michigan and Ottawa County mandated Covid-19 safety protocols. All athletes must be members of USA Triathlon in order to participate in this USA Triathlon sanctioned event. If you are not a member of USA Triathlon, a $10 annual youth membership can be purchased during the registration process.

All particpants must be members of USA Triathlon to compete. If not already a USAT member, a youth annual membership ($10) may be purchased during registration.
A participant's age is based on his or her age as of December 31, 2021. The minimum race age for Mighty Mitten Splash & Dash is 7; the maximum age is 15. Any participants younger than 7 or older than 15 as of December 31, 2021 is not eligible to participate in the event. USA Triathlon race-age rules apply.
